Interview with Marble Garden, other updates

A couple items before I sign off for the night:

• Spoke today with six Portage-area teens who play Allman Brothers-style jazz-blues-psychedelia. They're in a band called Marble Garden and they'll be in next week's WOW. Very cool. Click here to listen to my interview with the band. A Cutting Room is forthcoming.

• Schuler's Restaurant in Marshall has started Wednesday night music at its Winston's Pub. A story is forthcoming.

• Also, if you're ever up late — close to 2 a.m. or so — and home on a Saturday night, check out Fearless Music. I think it's on Comcast Channel 6, but I'm not really sure. It's a New York-based college-feel Indie music channel with very awesome bands most nights. Their Web site offers free videos of what you've missed on TV. I found Medicated Kisses on that show, a band I like for reasons I don't quite understand. The lead singer, I suppose...
