Men's soccer wins Big Ten Tournament
Congratulations to coach Joe Baum and his team for their 1-0 win over Indiana in the Big Ten tournament championship. That means an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
Although I'm not a huge soccer fan, I did enjoy watching it on the Big Ten Network. Anything -- and I mean anything -- is better than watching the Lions.

Terrific for Coach Baum and the team, High seed to come?
Summers does NOT know how to play defense, he is an absolute liability

That is great news Stephanie! Will their tournament games be on TV? If so, what does the schedule look like?
Is Carolina going to take FL's spot as our nat'l rivalry team??

Congrats to Joe Baum and the Spartans!
I had this game on the TV in the other room while I was watching the women's NCAA tourney game at Notre Dame on the 'net. So I heard when we scored versus IU and jumped up to watch the replay.
Regarding what Stan asks, I was very lucky to find the women's NCAA game on the net - I think it's just because we happened to play Notre Dame and they do video of their women's soccer matches (I was forced to use und.com). Essentially what happens is some of the networks carry regular season and conference tourney soccer games (BTN, CBS College Sports, ESPNU, etc.) but then when it comes time for the even bigger games, they quit until the very end! If MSU makes the men's final four, then I think we'll be on TV, but for games prior to that, don't be surprised if the only way to follow the match is via the live stats of GameTracker. I'll try to drop in someplace in here if I find out more. I'm pretty on top of this stuff as you can tell by what I said about my viewing strategy on Sunday.
