Students at Michigan State University may want to have a chat with their state representative, Mark Meadows.
The East Lansing legislator was one of only a handful of Democratic votes that made it possible today to pass a higher ed budget (by a 57-51 vote) that eliminates the Michigan Promise Scholarships.
I doubt Meadows has ever campaigned around MSU on the plank of “reducing college scholarship funds.”
