JonBenet Ramsey's dad vs. Dennis Lennox
I don't care which races are close, which are nasty and which are the most crucial to state House control. Well, OK, I do, but I've got to confess that my biggest guilty pleasure this spring/summer will be watching the GOP battle in the 105th.
The race to replace Kevin Elsenheimer, who is giving up a shot at a third term and possible House minority leader job to run for a judgeship has attracted two "name" candidates.
First is John Ramsey, father of the famous JonBenet Ramsey. According to LSJ columnist Tim Skubick, GOP leaders are talking to Ramsey about running for the same seat he ran second in the race for in 2004.
On the other side is Dennis Lennox II, who is most famous for being the guy behind the anti-Gary Peters campaign at Central Michigan University. Lennox is, depending on who you listen to, either a nut with a video camera and too much time on his hands or a crusader for people sick of double-talking political candidates.
So as we sit in Lansing, looking at five (very likely) snoozers of primaries between incumbent state House candidates or their would-be opponents, the political reporters in Charlevoix get Ramsey v. Lennox.
As a political junkie, I'm jealous.

Ramsey is backed by Chuck Yob, who has really isolated a lot of people in the state. It seems like he has too many negativities. Also, where has he been the last four years? Nobody has seen him since he lost to Elsenheimer in the '04 primary.

So did we decide he didn't kill the girl? What ever happened with that...

I want Lennox to win. We need some new ideas in Lansing.

Dennis Lennox is seriously a delusional nut. His arrogance is out of control, and the Democrats in that district are probably rooting for him, because even Kwame Kilpatrick could beat him

I fully support Dennis Lennox

Dennis Lennox will make a fine state representative. He's the type of person we need in Lansing. He's someone with a perspective that's needed in Lansing.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Come one, come all, for the greatest battle of 2008!
Who will win in this contest of slime? Nazis or child murderers?
Buy your tickets now, and vote Democratic in Nov.

Dennis is unfit to serve at any level of government. The kid should really try growing up first. The kid cannot be taken seriously with his faux hawk, and deer in head lights pose

I saw what Dennis Lennox did standing up for Cheboygan County taxpayers last summer and I want him in Lansing. When left-wing interest groups tried raising taxes, he stood up and didn't take no for an answer until 10 out of the 19 townships rejected the tax.

Lennox is a great American, he stands up for the citizen and is not a typical political idiot. After all do we want a kid who has new ideas and a new attitude or an old man who was accused o killing his daughter? You decide.

Having (unfortunately) been a colleagues of Dennis' for about six months, I can personally attest to what a nutcase he is. He has Hitler leaning tendencies and if you are not a blonde, blue-eyed, white male, you are worthless. He could not carry on a civil conversation with anyone, he was constantly degrading women and minorities and he lied to everyone in our office about everything. He was about to be fired when he just walked out and said "I quit" before they could fire him. Mind you, this was in a GOP leaning office-so you can only imagine how far off the scale he must be if the GOP wanted to get rid of him. You really want someone like him in office, I think not. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE would be a better candidate. Dennis in Lansing would be the worst thing to happen to politics since term limits. (well, except granholm-sorry, couldn't resist throwing that jab in there)

oh, and I forgot to mention he carries a murse. (that's short for "man-purse" for those of you not in the loop)

Oh, give me a break.

While he may be arrogant and a nutcase, he has no "Hiter-like tendencies" and the implications are sick and offensive.
Then again, does it take one to know one?
A large ego can be a potent tool in a political campaign, and there are few people of any age that are not fit for public office, as long as they get the votes.

Ramsey isn't eligible to run

The problem with Lennox is that he has some rather shocking political views. Knowing him personally, I must say that he's far too extreme for my tastes (and I am a Republican).
Lennox is an arrogant kid who has had everything handed to him his entire life. He really believes himself to be someone who is destined by status to be a political leader. What Michigan needs is not another politician-as-usual, but someone fresh who isn't part of the system. Lennox is certainly not that.
By the way, if you doubt that he's too extreme, just look at this picture:

I am a reired fbi agent who recently solved the JonBenet Ramsey murder. My new website: jonbenetramseymurdersolved.com gives a money back gurantee if not completely satisfied. The proof is so powerful that it should force Ramsey to withdraw from the race.

why don't they just tell the police who they know who has their first name as the one he left on the letter?
