Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm may have a safety net following her hasty depature from her show, "The War Room," on Current TV.
Speculation around Washington circles is that she may be in line for a possible opening in the U.S. Attorney General's post, according to Politico.
She probably shouldn't scout apartments in D.C. just yet. According to Politico, she is near the bottom of the list of contenders.
Last week, she announced she is leaving Current TV, following its purchase by Al Jazeera. She had been on the network for nearly a year after ending an 8-year stint as governor. Prior to that, she served as the state's attorney general.
According to the reports, a spokeswoman for Granholm declined to comment on the cabinet speculation.
