Impermanence...Reversed?

So my lost kitty from my previous post returned home yesterday, making her adventure 4 nights and 5 days long. Judging from her hardly-ruffled coat, she was most likely stuck in someone's garage or shed and released when they went out to grab a wrench. My husband and I were struck yet again by our need for the ability to roll with the punches.

If only all of life's unexpected occurrences were happy endings, like a lost pet returning home. Except not all homecomings are simple- have you ever seen 'Castaway'? Not exactly a happy ending- but hopeful, at least. One thing I have learned yet again from Midget's disappearance and return is that I am still honing my skill of acceptance, and my ability to roll with the punches, be they happy or sad or anything in between.
