Facing the Truth
I've known something was wrong about the way I eat for some time- looking back I can see how after my kidney transplant surgery, things started to get a little difficult in the emotional department for me. All excuses aside, I have decided to begin seeking treatment for what is referred to by many medical professionals as Disordered Eating.
Disordered Eating is not officially considered to be a mental disorder like some other forms of Eating Disorders (read the Mayo Clinic's article here), but it does happen to be the most commonly diagnosed. One of the most difficult things for me has been deciding if I even needed help in the first place. I'm young, I'm fit- generally people think I have some perfect eating schedule and they assume that because I'm not obese, I am simply over-analyzing myself when I worry about my weight.
The bottom line is that it took me only 5 minutes to read descriptions of Disordered Eating symptoms before I knew that I needed help. I've reached out to a local psychotherapist who specializes in Eating Disorders, and I'm hoping my insurance covers the visits. Blogging about my experiences as I work through my treatment I hope not only can assist me in getting better, but also educate all of my readers that an Eating Disorder doesn't really have a stereotype, or always show on the outside.
Hello,
Home owners insurance coverage is a package insurance plan. This means that it addresses both damage to you and your home and liability concerns for injuries and property damage you or individuals in your household relatives bring about to visitors. Destruction brought on by most natural disasters maybe covered but there are exceptions.
