Giving and receiving.

It is early October and kids minds are filled with candy and costumes. Parents however begin to think about upcoming holidays.

Thanksgiving is the first major holiday we will celebrate. It is a great time to see family and friends and to really be thankful about all of the blessings of the year.

There are some people out there that don't have friends or family around and also don't have food to eat. Feeling like you're not cared for can be and usually is devastating to people. Lets show that we care by giving to those that are less fortunate. Help someone else to smile. Ababa

The eyes have it.

Lately the sun has decided that since I was up early in the morning it wanted to take a hard close look in my eyes while I am driving.  Taking the children to school in the morning I find myself looking into the power of the sun.  Despite visors it seems to find any nook and cranny to get its light into my eyes. glasses

The other day I looked over and saw my son squinting.  He wears glasses, a necessity for him.  I thought to myself how much worse it would be if I had to wear glasses that not only concentrated the light but made it difficult to put sunglasses over.  Then as if answering a question his glasses changed colors.  They began to tint themselves with some kind of magic called transitions lenses.

I am thankful that they have these types of things to keep my child's eyes protected.  Keep your children's eyes protected from the sun and help them to see a better future in school by scheduling eye exams and updating glasses frames and lenses.  Lansing has some great places to get glasses and frames and eye exams.  Like H D Optical Express, Lansing, MI or Pearle Vision - Lansing and many, many more

Make sure that you go somewhere that will really treat you and your eyes with the respect they need.  They are the only eyes you have. happy
