Black and Cyber.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa2
The turkey was amazing and the stuffing divine,
but there are those around us concentrating on time.
They have things to ponder and places to roam,
items to purchase like cheap cellular phones.
Big screen TV's for lots, lots cheaper,  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
and pennies on the dollar for a big deep freezer.
The items will bring such laughter and joy,
whether given to a girl or even a boy.
But the greatest gift given to one and to all,
is for family to be together to share in it all.

So as time ticks closer to the midnight hour,
our hearts go out to those in line without showers.
Without beds with pillows. Without blankets and such,
for me the cold would just be too much.
Those without the comfort of warmth and cozy places,
without hot food and toasty blazing fire to brighten their faces.
I wish you good hunting and lots and lots of cheer,
PS. I hope you find all my gifts I wanted this year!

Be safe Lansing Happy Thanksgiving and good luck shopping!

Silver is Gold.

                                               Silverbells

Tonight downtown Lansing will be holding the Silver Bells in the City. This is the 27th time that our city will host this monumental event. Everything will be lit including the faces of the participants. Lights, music and lots of other entertainment are on the agenda for the night and its going to be amazing.

The festivities are starting at 5pm and going strong till 9pm. There will be thousands of people from all over our beautiful state and farther to see lots of acts and millions of lights. I look forward to everything tonight and maybe we can even get a touch of snow. See you there.

Fall

Fallish 2
Walking through Lansing and all of its amazing colors can be very inspiring. There are rivers and streams lined with trees of all shapes, sizes and colors. Bridges are littered with red and yellow gems that dance through the sky. That sky has decided that sunrise and sunset are the times for it to display its own amazing show. Clouds are thick with color or just a whisper against a purple and orange sea. Bright red or deep gold this ever changing kaleidoscope is heartwarming for those that choose to look up.

Fallish

It's not uncommon for our city to look amazing but it is heartwarming to see. Even our capitol has draped its self in full fall style.

When you get a chance get out and enjoy the colors and enjoy each other!
