Mason's Qendrim Rexhepi suffered a knee injury on opening night of last fall's soccer season. But he'll get the chance to play again this season at Division II Tiffin in Ohio.
Rexkepi was a Division 2 all-area honorable mention as a junior forward in 2007, and surely would've played a big part on one of the area's best teams last fall. Although the Bulldogs were still successful, he was definitely missed.
His signing actually took place a while ago, but I just caught wind of it recently, and regardless, it's something worth appreciating.
