If you’re interested in some strong high school basketball to start your 2010, former Okemos baseball standout Marlon Wright is part of a group hosting some intriguing Midwest teams Saturday at Saline High.
Although there are no mid-Michigan teams in this year’s Saline Holiday Showcase, highly-ranked Class A Romulus highlights the field, which also includes teams from Indiana and Illinois.
Willow Run faces Inkster in the opener at noon, followed by Dexter/Detroit Consortium at 2 p.m., Saline/Chicago Harlan Community Academy, Ann Arbor Pioneer/La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere School and finishing at 8 p.m. with Romulus taking on Gary (Ind.) Lew Wallace.
