We're talking about practice: We've got plans to hit three camps on opening day, taking a look at teams that appear positioned to take the next step as contenders this fall.
Jeremy, your turn: The Geoff Kimmerly/Jeremy Sampson Blitz Picks preview will be back for 2010. Jeremy and I will pick every game, and he'll try to show 2008 wasn't a fluke. I beat Sampson in 2007 and 2009, but he left a solid knock to the ego in that season in between.
At your news stands: The annual preview section will publish Aug. 25, in time for digestion before the local openers two nights later. I won't tell you yet what the main story will be, but I guarantee you'll be intrigued as it will include all 44 area football teams in a way you might not expect. We'll also have our preseason all-area team, among other features.
