Organizers for the Coaches vs. Cancer Golf Scramble at Walnut Hills are seeking teams to fill out the field for the Aug. 9 event.
The Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan will donate all tournament proceeds to the American Cancer Society.
Cost for the four-person scramble is $100 per golfer and includes practice balls, 18 holes with cart and dinner with door prizes and gifts available. Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis and women’s basketball coach Suzy Merchant will be among special guests.

The event is being run by Williamston boys hoops coach Rodney Palmer. A number of the area's prominent high school coaches will be competing.
