Skiles picking up Sampson?

It looks like Kelvin Sampson's MSU connections might come through for him again.

According to this report from ESPN, Skiles is looking closely at Sampson to be one of his assistants in Milwaukee. (Sampson, for those who don't know, was a grad assistant at MSU in 1979-80 under Jud Heathcote, and has always counted Heathcote as a mentor.)
Just imagine the rivalry NBA fans can enjoy when Skiles/Sampson and the Bucks take on Izzo and the Bulls. Just kidding. Take a deep breath. By the way, this blog post was mostly just an excuse for me to show off my newly discovered ability to link to other stories.

lol... not funny.

Interesting Draftexpress.com has the Bucks taking Eric Gordon. I don't agree with the pick. It makes no sense, considering they have Redd, Williams, and Bell at the position. But still could be interesting with the pickup of Sampson.

Hey, why not? It'd be fitting to have Eric Gordon join Sampson at the Bucks...

Great job with the link Joe. Welcome to HTML 101.

You're supposed to wait for someone to show they've changed before you hire them. This second chance bit will bit skiles in the butt.

yo, you can talk to anyone all you want on the phone in the nba. it's not the girl scouts.

OK, here is my plan. Lure Izzo to the NBA, not this year, but maybe next, he signs just as I get fired from the Bucks (remember that the average life expectancy of a coach with an NBA team is only 1 or 2 years), then take the MSU job!

Thanks, vnflcards. It only took me about 12 years to learn how to link. Next up, photo shop.

Chicago Tribune reporting Izzo has accepted Bulls job. No. No . No. TI, what are u doing ?

Delta Kai... get a life.

B White, souldn't you be producing a new album ? Gotta give to you bro, when hearing your music, nothing better than making naked pretzel with partner to your songs.

DK, has got to go. DK is out for weekend.

This kid Nix hardly gets off the floor and his weight definitely promises to be a challenge for him.Still I feel good about him, despite noticing he is quite slow and shows little flexibility. He has plenty of time and hopefully the MSU brain trust has a future plan for him.265 lbs or so,I think, will see this kid rise to the top, hopefully he has the mentality of Charles Barkley.Barkley,an all pro nba player started college around 320lbs,and got down to 6-5 1/2 265lbs,and maintained that for all of his career,so can NIX!

Delta Kai...get your scum a$$ outta here!

Briefly, changing the subject and looking at next season's non-conference BB schedule: if Kansas, North Carolina and Texas lose all the players that have declared for the draft, I feel we have an excellent chance to win all three of those games, especially the Kansas game. Add the possibility of playing Gonzaga and Tennessee in the Old Spice Classic, our schedule could end up being the toughest in the country! Our team will have a golden opportunity to show the rest of the nation that they are one of the elite programs. But, it will take a supreme effort on the players' part to accomplish this. I, for one, am extremely excited about next year. I know we won't win every game, but neither did any team this year. If next year's team learns from their losses, they have an excellent chance to make the Final Four.
