MSU health updates
They've been required regularly this season, haven't they?
* Raymar Morgan did practice Tuesday (in long sleeves, apparently trying to sweat out Ubervirus) and will play Thursday. He played pretty well but had to bury his face in his arm every once in a while and cough violently. The problem with the illness is that it doesn't allow him to go hard for long periods. He did everything in practice, though, and said he isn't worried about an adverse effect on his conditioning.
"The coaches pushed me today, which helps," he said.
Morgan has tried just about everything to get rid of it, although Travis Walton suggested he may need to look into some "grandma remedies." He is drinking hot tea, and someone told him he should try adding some liquor to it.
"I might have to try that now as a last resort," he joked.
* I got some frantic e-mails while at practice about a rumor that Korie Lucious had a broken bone in his foot and would be out long term. If that's true, MSU's medical staff really needs to step it up. Lucious was out there running around, fast as ever, with nothing on either foot. Crazy!
