Win an MSU hoops DVD
OK, we’re going talk radio today with a giveaway. For those of you who have the Big Ten Network (most of you, I would think), you may have seen the recently released “The Greatest Stories of Michigan State Basketball.”
It’s now out in DVD format, and it’s very well done. Gus Johnson narrates through 74 minutes of rare footage and new interviews with MSU hoops notables such as Jud Heathcote, Greg Kelser, Steve Smith, Mateen Cleaves, Morris Peterson and Eric Snow (and of course, Steve Grinczel).
It starts with the 1979 team and there’s heavy emphasis on that and the 2000 national title run under Tom Izzo. But there’s a lot of Smith/Skiles/Sam Vincent/Respert and Snow mixed in as well.
Some of the rare game footage is great. Skiles talking trash and such. Jumping Johnny Green and the guys from the 1957 Final Four against North Carolina, etc.
So if you want one for free, be among the first five to get all five of the following questions (all gleaned from the DVD) correct. One stab per blogger.
Here’s the catch: You have to have a valid e-mail address in your profile to participate, because I’ll be e-mailing the winners and asking for info. Sorry, but ihateum@wolverinessuck.com won’t work. If we don't have five perfect scores by noon Friday, we'll take the top five scores.
