Boylen extension, raise

Things have moved quickly in one direction for Jim Boylen at Utah.

So it's no surprise that Utah rewarded Boylen -- even in this economy, as this story points out. If your revenue sports aren't flourishing, you have no chance. Major improvement in academic accountability is one of the big things Boylen has been credited for fostering.
I didn't realize Utah was in such bad shape in that area before he got there. I also didn't realize Memphis inquired about him after Calipari bolted.
Tree check: Things look good for Boylen there moving forward. At Dayton, Brian Gregory has a team that should be the Atlantic 10 favorite and a top 25 team entering the season. And Doug Wojcik is building something solid at Tulsa, which appears to have a great shot to make the NCAA Tournament next season.
