Mr. Tanfan

Gray = next Ben Wallace. Lock it.

Clearly, all three of those players: Gray, Ibok and Walton deserve a shot in the NBA. With Izzo's development of their physical play, especially in the Big Ten, MSU players will do well in the professional leagues.
Compare these battle tested Spartan warriors to the likes of Ricky Rubio from Spain and it appears that the NBA is more interested in making Marketing decisions to expand the market share of the league than getting the best players on the floor.
I love this MSU program.

None of those players makes and NBA Roster. Gray can't shoot, minor problem. Ibong can't dribble, catch, or shoot (He is not Thabeet like some people say, that guy can at least dunk). Walton is too short, and not consistent with his shot. I think out of all of them Walton has the best shot, and I think they will all get a chance to make great money and live in Europe for a while. Suton should make Utah's Squad. Any update on what Paul Davis is doing?

Paul Davis...hope that guy invested well. He should be able to find a job in Rochester selling insurance, raise some kids and maybe even coach at the high school level.

Time to see if Gray can bang, bang, bang, bang, on the NBA level. It's a soft league, maybe he can find a spot as a banger.

With the 6th foul in the NBA, Gray would last 4 minutes a game--and the only way he's the next Ben Wallace is with a name-change. Except at the freethrow line. Nothing wrong with making a good living in Europe--doing what you enjoy.

I can't see these three making the NBA, but Europe sounds great to me. Maybe it's all perspective, anyway.

What a dream -- to make a living in Europe!

Patrick

It looks like Walton is on the Pistons summer league roster as well.
