No. 10 for 2010

Per the Indy Star, safety Isaiah Lewis of Indianapolis Ben Davis High just became MSU's 10th verbal commitment for 2010.

   Look for the full rundown on Lewis -- another high-ranking, well-offered pickup -- courtesy of Dan Kilbridge in Friday's State Journal. This now means MSU's 2010 class has:
    A quarterback (Joe Boisture).
    A running back (Nick Hill).
    A receiver (Tony Lippett).
    A linebacker (Max Bullough).
    A safety (Lewis).
    A cornerback (Mylan Hicks).
    Two defensive ends (Will Gholston and Taylor Calero).
    Two offensive linemen (Travis Jackson and Michael Dennis).
    Pretty good balance there. MSU could use a space eater or two on that defensive line (but then, so could everyone) and more of everything else. The addition of Lewis continues the momentum that Gholston's commitment seemed to spark.
