Roster scan

The MSU media guide bears news: Roderick Jenrette is officially on the roster. Glenn Winston is not. And incoming defensive end Corey Freeman is on the roster but listed as inactive.

So, no big surprise here, it looks like Freeman won't be academically eligible to suit up until 2010. It's no big surprise on Winston either, who is still serving his sentence, but this doesn't necessarily mean he won't be on the roster at some point in 2009. The Jenrette news is interesting, he's been going to school but off the team for a year trying to earn his way back on, and now he has. We'll get Dantonio's thoughts on all this and more in the afternoon.
