Shannon Brown will remain a Laker, and at a healthy salary bump, showing just how important the right fit and a few good weeks can be. Although Brown was not a factor in the finals (not a good matchup), he was crucial in the conference finals against Chauncey Billups and Denver -- arguably winning Game 5 with an early-fourth outburst.

Good for him.....someday Cousins will make that much.

agreed sdp ... i'll never cheer for the lakers, but always great to see a spartan having success (and nobody around east lansing is surprised about him unleashing powerful dunks in the nba i bet)

Cousins at power forward will make the Lakers dominant for years to come.

Thanks Joe for finally posting about Shannon ...I watched all the playoffs, and he helped them win with his 3 point shooting, and defense...Phil and Kobe like him so now he is a Laker!
Anyone who hasn't seen Shannon since his MSU days, would be surprised at his play, physical size, and toughness!
