'They did what we wanted them to do'

Telling quote from Ricky Stanzi on the final play, in this look at Iowa's latest, greatest escape: "We knew they were going to bring pressure, so we brought Tony (in motion to the right) and got them moving to the other side, got them going one way and got the focus on Tony and got a one-on-one situation on the backside," Stanzi said. "They did what we wanted them to do in that situation for that play."

    That pretty much says it all. Chris L. Rucker still shouldn't have given up inside position, but this was a great call and play by Iowa, taking advantage of the fact that MSU did exactly what Iowa thought it would do.

    Meanwhile, here's more MSU reaction from Sunday night. And if you're ready yet to look ahead, Minnesota star Eric Decker is questionable for Saturday's game -- which is being framed as a must-win for the reeling Gophers.
