I think the question is:
What team will show up Saturday night???
Will it be the first half of the NW game? Or will it be the 2nd half?? Or, and maybe the most likely possibility-- a combination of both.
I think we will have to come out strong from the start, knock em in the teeth and show them we are going to play for 60 minutes without quit. If we do this, we can win. And Dantonio, throw a trick play in there once a blue moon. My goodness, I haven't seen one of those since 2001. I'll even be satisfied with a misdirection. GO state!!

I would say so. I was at the game and it looked like the timing was off on the play and Cousins hurried his delivery.

I agree, I've seen several this year. The most creative in the last decade is one I saw last year with Hoyer faking a fumble and throwing for a touchdown.

Trick plays, you ask? How about running the ball from the 4-inch line into the opponent's end-zone for a touchdown? Now THAT would be a trick play...for this team!

Any word on Larry Caper for Sat.'s game..he had a concussion in the Minn. game and if he can't play---will we finally see Ashton Leggett play!? Anyone have the 'word' on why leggett doesn't get the chance to play? He seems to be in Dantonio's doghouse?
We need a run game to keep the ball away from the Bronco QB.

Garbonzo, you are right. I have never seen that trick play work, but we will continue trying that trick play of running it up the middle and eventually it will work. Then we will all be amazed with the trickery, raise Dantonio over the players shoulders and chant his name as the scoreboard reads MSU 17 Western 16.
