Can we rename it the Turmoil Bowl?
So which Alamo Bowl participant has more adversity to overcome? MSU, 14 players lighter than it was in late November? Or Texas Tech -- which will be playing without its head coach?
Lots of questions, few answers at this stage. But let's face it, parents complaining about coaches happens from time to time. And the coach isn't always immediately suspended. This appears, on the surface, to be somewhat serious. Otherwise, if you're Texas Tech, why not deal with this starting Sunday?
UPDATE: More details are emerging, and we'll continue to provide them here as they come. Leach has had some well-publicized issues with his players this season, including ripping them for listening to their "fat little girlfriends" and underestimating a Texas A&M team that beat them 52-30.
UPDATE: And it gets uglier, with the introduction of a shed and a "Little League dad." Rumors are swirling about the identify of said father, but we'll wait and see on that. Another thing to consider: Leach calls the plays for the Red Raiders.
UPDATE: As it turns out, Craig James is the father in question here. I'm trying to imagine Friday's bowl luncheon with the coaches and ESPN personalities, in the event that Leach wasn't suspended.
