A jam-packed day

You can head over to Breslin at 2 p.m. for women's senior day, then head home and burn out the Recall button on your remote. It's USA-Canada for the gold at 3 p.m. and MSU-Purdue at 4, with the Spartans essentially playing for a share of the Big Ten title.

Do me a favor, keep me updated on the hockey. At rowdy Mackey Arena, I'm still picking Purdue despite the absence of Robbie Hummel, but if MSU takes care of the ball the way it did in the first meeting, it'll have a great chance. That's just hard to do in Mackey, against this defense. On the other end, Moore and Johnson both can't go off like they did in Breslin.
