Lucas X-rays negative, for real this time

Kalin Lucas has an ankle sprain and his status for Saturday's game at Illinois is uncertain. Here's the full statement released by MSU's Matt Larson:

  

"X-Rays today confirmed that Kalin Lucas has a sprained ankle. The team did not practice today. We won't have any idea on status for this weekend until at least tomorrow or later in the week when we see how it responds to treatment and how quickly it heals."

    Look for more Thursday, after MSU practices in the afternoon.
