Allen "minute-to-minute"

Chris Allen's foot is in a boot, and apparently it's purple (the foot, not the boot). But he says he'll definitely play Sunday. Tom Izzo isn't so sure.

Allen has a strained arch in that right foot, a painful injury that is limiting his ability to run and jump. It is improving, however, and MSU is hoping tonight will bring rapid recovery so he can come off the bench for some minutes Sunday. The Spartans' hopes of effectively defending Greivis Vasquez may depend on it.
Izzo thinks a decision on Allen probably won't come until right before tip. Meanwhile, Kalin Lucas' ankle seems to be OK, it was "tweaked" Friday, Izzo said, but Lucas insisted on practicing today.
