A Big Ten sequel?

So Minnesota drubs UNC at a neutral site and loses to UVA at home. The Gophers' upset loss puts the Big Ten in a tight spot as it tries to win a second straight Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Al Nolen didn't play, and that hurts Minnesota's defense, but Devoe Joseph was back and it's not like these are Minnesota's center's father's Cavs. Bad loss.

Here's the lineup for the next two nights:

    Tonight:

Iowa at Wake Forest, 7 (Eastern), ESPNU

Georgia Tech at Northwestern, 7, ESPN2

Ohio State at Florida State, 7:30, ESPN

    Michigan at Clemson, 9, ESPN2

North Carolina at Illinois, 9:30, ESPN

    Wednesday

Indiana at Boston College, 7:15, ESPNU

    N.C. State at Wisconsin, 7:15, ESPN2

Purdue at Virginia Tech, 7:30, ESPN

Maryland at Penn State, 9:15, ESPN2

    MSU at Duke, 9:30, ESPN

I like Northwestern, Ohio State, Illinois, Clemson and Wake Forest tonight.

That would make it 3-3 entering the final day. I like Wisconsin for win No. 4, and then it gets dicey. Indiana and Purdue could get road wins. Penn State could beat Maryland at home. Duke is the clear favorite at home over MSU ... it might come down to that one. All because Minnesota couldn't beat Virginia at home.

Speaking of MSU-Duke, Kyrie Irving has the attention of the Spartans. Korie Lucious is excited about getting to check Irving. Lucious and Kalin Lucas looked good in practice Monday, no hobbling and full participation. And Delvon Roe -- who will see a lot of Kyle Singler on Wednesday (more on that Wednesday) -- checked Durrell Summers for a while and actually did a pretty good job.

On the football front, here's more on the awards haul and Dantonio's thoughts on the BCS situation.
