    Speaking of basketball for just a moment, the Big Ten quietly opened Monday night with Penn State's mildly surprising win at Indiana. Today we have Purdue at Michigan (2 Eastern, Big Ten Network) and Minnesota at Wisconsin (7, ESPN2).

    Today in Orlando, we have practice and interviews with both Alabama and Michigan State, and the Spartans get their Best Buy shopping spree. And it might just be a newsier day than expected, I'll check in later with the, uh, latest.
