Jones out for IU

Verdell Jones III is in street clothes with the inflamed knee that has kept him out of the past two games -- yet did not stop Indiana from upsetting Illinois on Thursday.

    Still, that's a big bonus for MSU. Jones is a Darius Morris-like player, a big guard who can get his shot on MSU's guards whenever he wants. As rough as things are for MSU right now, there's no reason the Spartans shouldn't win this game convincingly.
