Sims back and other football news
Dion Sims is officially back (for spring ball anyway, he hasn't officially been welcomed back for the 2011 season -- yet) and he's listed second on the depth chart behind Garrett Celek (Brian Linthicum is sixth by the way, after Derek Hoebing OR Drew Stevens OR Andrew Gleichert)
At right tackle, Skyler Schofner is listed as the starter (Dan France as his backup!). At left guard (with Foreman out, mind you), it's John Deyo OR Micajah Reynolds. Left tackle, Jared McGaha, with David Barrent listed second. Defensive line starters: Hoover, Worthy, White, Gholston. Secondary starters: Adams, Robinson, Jairus Jones, Dennard.
Is that enough for you to digest for a few moments? Mark Dantonio is speaking right now and has yet to address any of this stuff, but we'll get to it soon. He did just say Linthicum and Bullough will miss the first two practices of the spring and that internal action has been taken on their trouble in Colorado.
UPDATES: Chris Norman has moved to the Sam and he may not take any contact this spring after elbow surgery in the offseason. Dantonio did not rule Norman out of the spring game, his progress the next few weeks will tell that story. Also, Kevin Pickelman is out with a neck injury, he also could participate late in the spring but it's not like there's a big need for it. That's the main stuff at this point, I think.
