Donald Spencer transferring

This is Denny in for Joe. Michigan State sophomore wide receiver Donald Spencer will transfer. The transfer was confirmed by associate athletic director John Lewandowski.

Spencer was a four-star recruit according to recruiting website Rivals.com out of Ypsilanti High School in the 2009 class. Spencer redshirted in 2009 and saw action in seven games in 2010, mainly on special teams. He had two career catches for 21 yards, both coming in last season's loss at Iowa.
