Stunning and sad news

Tom "Killer" Kowalski, one of the best reporters and guys in the sportswriting business, has passed away at 51.

    If everyone who knew him sat down to trade Killer stories, it would take several days to get through them all. He was a pro's pro and this is a gut punch.

    UPDATE: The tributes to Killer are rolling in, and there can't be enough of them. I thought Jim Schwartz made a very classy gesture at the Lions press conference today.
