France on the rise

MSU is now tweeting its depth chart on Mondays, and here is the Notre Dame edition. As speculated somewhere this morning, Dan France is the starter at left tackle and there's no "OR" after his name.

    In fact, the "OR"s are disappearing all over that chart, aren't they? Bennie Fowler (foot) and Tyler Hoover (back) do appear on the depth chart, which is a potentially encouraging sign but far from confirmation that either will play in South Bend. We may learn more on them Tuesday.

    UPDATE: MSU's Sept. 24 game against Central Michigan will be a noon start, MSU announced today. It will air on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
