One more for the Roe

Delvon Roe's career is one to be celebrated. Bottom line: Tom Izzo has brought a lot of quality kids to East Lansing over the years, and Roe is right at the top of the list.

And let's not forget his value on the basketball court. Remember, this is a guy who defended Kyle Singler and Jajuan Johnson -- very different players -- as well as anyone did last season. Big Ten All-Defense, and his versatility on that end is what will be missed most between the lines this season.

There will be plenty of time to discuss basketball impact, but my initial thought is that Alex Gauna will be most affected by this. He was the fifth wheel inside and now he's part of the quartet, joining Draymond Green, Derrick Nix and Adreian Payne. And yeah, Green will play some three and Branden Dawson will play some four in small lineups, MSU will do different things. But I have to think Gauna's playing time sees a bump here.
