Personnel moves

Tonight's updates start with the NBDL draft -- Durrell Summers goes in the second round (16th overall) to the Maine Red Claws, while Travis Walton goes in the third round (41st overall) to the Bakersfield Jam.

Others of note: Jamaal Tinsley (Palace in 2000, anyone?) is the No. 1 overall pick. Alando Tucker No. 2. The Red Claws take Mike Tisdale in the second round for a little Big Ten inside-outside game. Eric Devendorf to the Idaho Stampede in the fourth round. Pooh Williams (!) also in the fourth. Saginaw's own Josh Southern to the Texas Legends in the fifth. And Lawrence Westbrook joins Walton in Bakersfield.

On the football recruiting front, MSU has added a verbal tonight from Ezra Robinson, DB from Sarasota, Fla., per Rivals.com and 247Sports.com. That's 15 for the class, two defensive backs (the other is Jermaine Edmondson of Canton McKinley). Rivals ranks him the No. 51 corner in the nation and his offer list includes Illinois, Purdue, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, North Carolina and others.

And on the basketball recruiting front, U-M scores big tonight with a verbal from Mitch McGary. Not only is McGary a consensus top-five recruit with offers from Duke, UNC and many others, he seems like the perfect player for John Beilein. College basketball in this state is going to get very interesting, I think.
