Happy New Year's Eve. Today on the football roster: Brian Linthicum and his friend Paige Duren; the always-entertaining Pat Narduzzi; B.J. Cunningham, prepping for his second bowl game. And don't miss this Rod Sanford photo album from MSU's day on the beach. Love the "Caddyshack" pool scene re-enactment. Not so sure on Connor Kruse's swimming attire. But it looks like his teammates enjoyed it.
The MSU women's basketball team opened Big Ten play with a win at Indiana.
And the MSU men hit Nebraska today, coming off an emotional win over IU and knowing that a Tuesday trip to Wisconsin looms. I think the Spartans will grind one out. Back later with some thoughts on that one, in between the final football game advance writing of the 2011 season.
