The latest on Green

Draymond Green limped out of the MSU locker room tonight with a large ice pack on his left knee. He did not want to talk to reporters. He got on the bus and he'll be evaluated further in the morning.

Quick Green update

Tom Izzo said he isn't sure how bad Draymond Green's injury is, and isn't even sure exactly what it is. Green had to be helped off after the game, hobbling. More later.

OK, time for some serious basketball catch-up action before making this drive to Champaign. Tonight is the start of a daunting 10-game stretch to end the Big Ten season for MSU – five on the road, all against quality teams, with tough home games against Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State.

What is this, a football recruiting blog? It is that time of year, I suppose, and Mark Dantonio is closing with momentum. Safety Demetrious Cox of Jeannette, Pa., just announced at a press conference that he has picked MSU over Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State.

Cincinnati Moeller wideout Monty Madaris went Facebook to announce his commitment to MSU over the weekend -- a score that gives Mark Dantonio quite a WR  haul in 2012.

Baker invited to NFL Combine

This is Denny in for Joe. Michigan State junior running back Edwin Baker has been invited to the NFL Combine, according to Baker's finanical adviser Richard Griffin.

Closing thoughts from win No. 400

This is Denny in for Joe. It was an emotional night at the Breslin Center for Wednesday night's Michigan State win over Minnesota, which gave MSU coach Tom Izzo the 400th win of his career.
