MSU is waiting on a few more medical documents before submitting the waiver paperwork on DeAnthony Arnett, associate AD John Lewandowski said today. The expectation is that the NCAA will rule in three weeks once it receives those documents -- which could be any day now, Lewandowski said.
There was a mix-up earlier on this, Lewandowski was initially informed that the paperwork had been sent, but he said they decided to hold off to get more medical information in. To clarify, the waiver is for Arnett to play next season after transferring from Tennessee. He can participate in spring football either way. MSU's spring ball starts March 27 and the spring game is at 1:30 p.m. April 28 at Spartan Stadium.
