Branden Dawson has a torn left ACL

MSU team spokesman Matt Larson just informed us that Branden Dawson has torn the ACL in his left knee. He's done for the season, obviously, and this pretty seriously hampers MSU's postseason chances.

    This also could affect MSU's seeding. It isn't like a Kenyon Martin in 2000 or anything, but if the committee knows this team it knows Dawson helps on both ends whether he gets numbers or not. This means Brandan Kearney becomes a key, and it may mean more of an opportunity for Russell Byrd. We'll talk about this in much more depth with Tom Izzo on Monday.
