As an experienced observer of seasonal movements on U.S. 127, I’m ready to say there were more mobile pre-fabs than ever participating in the north-south migration over the Memorial Day Weekend.
It must be that after the four-bucks-a-gallon days of a year ago, $2.50 seems like a bargain.
All that pent-up wanderlust mixing with relatively cheap gas prices, and a fine three-day weekend, produced a largely unbroken RV caravan from south to north, and back again.
