The subject of a recent e-mail from Dona Rumrill of DeWitt: “Take a man with you to buy a vehicle.”
In the course of Rumrill’s lament about her recent truck-buying experience she wrote: “There was a time when a women could not get a fair shake at a car dealership. I am surprised that this type of situation still goes on in this day and age … Unless you are male, you get no respect …”
Any truth to this?
