Here’s something you don’t see every day: a letter from a prison inmate complaining that inmates are treated too well.
It comes from Joshua Wood, No. 638187, who lived in Lansing before, as he put it, he “made bad choices” and relocated to the Ionia Maximum Correctional Facility.
Wood wrote, in part: “I just want the taxpayers to know that the prisons here in Michigan serve cake and cookies and all different flavors of ice cream every day … How come …?
“Don’t reward prisoners!”
