The facts, as presented to me by certain MSU basketball fans, are as follows:
- Coach Tom Izzo promised the Izzone faithful that if the basketball team won the Big Ten title outright last spring, he would shave his head.
- They won.
- Izzo still has hair.
In an e-mail to me Mark Voisin wrote:
“I am wondering why no one has called out Coach Izzo about his promise to the students last year when they were buying tickets for the Izzone. He promised them that he would shave his head if the basketball team wins the Big Ten title outright. To my knowledge, he has NOT fulfilled that promise.”
