Prior to Saturday’s disappointing game, Spartan football coach Mark Dantonio gave Spartan Stadium ushers a nice surprise.
In an e-mail to me, Kathy Dobie, “Section 23,” wrote:
“As an usher in Spartan Stadium I wanted to share with your readers something that happened pre-game on Saturday, when the Spartans hosted Penn State.
“Coach Dantonio walked the perimeter of the stadium, shaking the hands of each of the ushers, thanking them for their work in the stadium.
“What a pleasant surprise! Despite the disappointing loss, this gesture made by the coach just reinforced what I already believed: He is a class act!”
