So, my furlough week went like this:
Three nights in Las Vegas (New York New York), where my wife and I met our L.A. son and daughter. Then two days hiking the red mountains of Sedona, Ariz. Then one night in Kingman, Ariz. (jumping-off point, so to speak, for the Grand Canyon Skywalk). Then a final night in Vegas (blackjack at the Golden Nugget).
At the MGM sports book we watched MSU beat Maryland; we watched the Northern Iowa game at the Nugget.
It was all pretty fabulous.
