Dear readers: I’ll be going away for a while (no, it’s not a matter of incarceration). So, here’s something to chew on for a fortnight. Consider it a Slo Poke for the mind.
I get the sense that many Michigan voters — more, it seems, than in most elections — aren’t especially wild about any of the choices for governor.
So, if you were suddenly given the power to name our state’s next chief executive — from any walk of life — whom would it be? And don’t worry about whether the person would accept the job; we can work out the details later.
