Tragically, Claude McCollum was erroneously convicted of rape and murder. He spent nearly three years behind bars and was awarded $2 million in compensation this week.
The settlement will be paid by the insurance company of LCC cop Rodney Bahl, who was accused of hiding evidence that would have proved McCollum’s innocence.
