I can tell you it was my daughter, MSU ’78. She is US Navy Capt. Sandra Adams a reservist who was deployed to Afghanistan in September. She was waving the flag to support the football team but, equally as important, to honor her professor father, Tom Adams, who is retiring the end of the year from MSU after 44 years.
