Lansing Schools Super T.C. Wallace said of the scholarship fund that COULD result from the casino that MAY have a snowball’ chance of being built in Lansing: “It’s an attractive program … and I think it will have a very positive impact on increasing enrollment.”
Obviously Virg’s irrational exuberance regarding Kewadin Lansing is contagious. But when you look at the legal hurdles that lie between the mayor’s announcement and the first shuffle, well … school officials should pin their hopes elsewhere.
